Trial Summary:
In partnership with NAVFAC, Dolphin Labs conducted a rigorous three-month sea trial of the first xNode prototype. The deployment aimed to validate the platform’s performance in a real-world operational environment, focusing on wave energy conversion efficiency, autonomous survivability, and the ability to provide power for subsea systems.
